C is the precursor and inspiration for almost all of the most popular high-level languages available today.

This book represents a comprehensive look at the C programming language and its features. Basic computer literacy is assumed, but no special knowledge is needed.

It takes you through basic programming concepts and shows you how to implement them in C. Throughout the book, you'll create and run programs that make use of one or more C concepts, such as program structure with functions, data types, and conditional statements.
